Stand in One Spot

It is what it is
It's the way that I am
The look in my eyes
The way that I stand

I won't change for many
In fact, only myself
I dream and I live
With my heart on the shelf

I think big and abstract
And I follow the path
To find the zest of life
I can handle the wrath

I'm not scared of change
Or drastic and extreme
I love the challenge of life
And all that it brings

My roots are in life
Not an address or place
To experience it all
As much as it takes

One day I will stop
And stand in one spot
When my last breath is breathed
And I'm six feet in my lot
