Today

I sit and I wait
Wondering why sometimes life is late
Or is it on time
But not on any schedule of mine

Life brings me smiles
And sometimes sadness too
Around the world, so many miles
Just to meet someone new

A journey, adventure for me to embark
In the glorious day today, not lonely in the dark
